BRT HARTNER SF

BRT HARTNER SF

Post-Treatment of the Mixed Paper Fraction

Product Highlights

  • For optimal subsequent treatment of mixed paper fraction
  • Efficient screening of disruptive materials and small parts
  • Dynamic adjustment of the screen cut
  • Cost-effective and durable

The BRT HARTNER SF Fine Screen removes and separates the material. The material is thus optimally prepared for manual, mechanical or optical screening. The separated oversized particles consist mainly of high-quality deinking material.

How Does the Fine Screen Work?

The fine screen uses small steel disks to move the material to the upper discharge point. Depending on the desired throughput rate, it is equipped with two or three screen decks, each with its own drive motor. This allows the speed to be set differently. The decks are arranged in cascades so that the material is turned at least once. The newspapers and magazines are cleaned and moved across the decks. Small impurities, on the other hand, are discharged downwards through the screen disks into a bunker.

Proven System

The rotating rotor elements consist each of an axle with oval disks. They are driven by an electric geared motor via chains and chain sprockets. The up and down movement sets the material in a kind of "floating" motion.
