The BRT HARTNER EWD Electric Waste Dismantler does its job automatically, safely and quickly. The plastic housings are roughly crushed. This leaves the internal appliance components largely intact.

Why Breaking and not Shredding?

  • The robust EWD Electric Waste Dismantler can be used to open plastic housings easily and reliably. The metal parts or cable reels inside the electrical appliances are not destroyed during the breaking process. This is particularly important for components containing toxic substances (e.g. capacitors, batteries or paint cartridges). The large fragments of the housing can then be easily separated from the circuit boards, blades, cables or fans. Loose cables are equalized and separated. The self-cleaning function of the crusher means that hoses, cables or other winding parts are no problem.

Slow Runner

The relatively low speed ensures that the emission values such as noise and dust remain far below those of shredders or other cutting machines.

The crusher is available in a ready-to-connect design. Substructure, feed hopper with fill level monitoring and additional conveyor technology are supplied on demand.
